Cuenca
One of the most striking towns in Spain. A beautiful fortified town is amazingly well preserved . The town rests on the steep sides of a mountain and the  “hanging houses” built right up to the cliff edge, literally takes your breath away when seeing it.

This city is a captivating UNESCO World Heritage Site. Behind the medieval walls, is the labyrinthine historic core of pretty cobblestone streets, with the most important historical landmarks in the city, including the 13th century High Gothic  Cathedral of St. Mary.
